After-School Program

Homework: Computer based homework must be completed at home, however we do offer a quiet table during our snack time for students who have traditional paper & pencil homework.

Classrooms: Students at EYS are divided into age appropriate groups. We maintain the designated state staff to student ratio of 1:25. All of our coaches are level 2 background screened, CPR, First-Aid, and AED trained and certified, and take 40 hours of child care training through DCF. 

What to wear/bring each day:  Students are required to wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing every day. Students are required to bring healthy after school snacks and a refillable water bottle daily.  EYS has limited snacks available for purchase.

• CES Academy, Citrus Park, Claywell, Essrig, Hammond, McKitrick, Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic, Northwest, Sunlake & Schwarzkopf Elementary schools.

• Extreme Youth Sports After-School program is sold as a full school year membership.

• Extreme Youth Sports Tampa Bay, known to students as EYS, is licensed by the State of Florida as a school-age childcare program.  Our after-school program is open from school dismissal until 6:00 pm daily. Each day students rotate through different enrichment activities.  We offer something new every 30 minutes.  Activities include Arts & Crafts, Jiu-Jitsu, Indoor Sports, Outdoor Sports (baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis, soccer, and volleyball), games, LEGO® builds & other STEM projects.

On camp days we open at 7:30am and close at 6:00pm.

· Fall Break Camp: 11/24/25, 11/25/25, 11/26/25 (Monday -Wednesday)

· Friday 2/13/26 Non-Student Day (Florida State Fair Day)

· Monday 3/2/2026 Non-Student Day (Strawberry Festival Day)

· Spring Break Camp: 3/16/2026, 3/17/2026, 3/18/2026, 3/19/2026 (Closed Friday)

EYS will be CLOSED on the following dates (NO camps offered):

· Monday 9/01/2025 - Labor Day

· Tuesday 11/11/2025 - Veteran's Day

· Thursday & Friday 11/27/2025 & 11/28/2025 - Thanksgiving/Fall Break

· Winter Break - 12/22/2025 - 1/2/2026

· Monday 1/5/2026 - Winter Break

· Monday 1/19/2026 - Martin Luther King Day

· Friday 3/20/2026 - Friday of Spring Break Camp (open M - Th)

· Friday 4/3/2026 - Good Friday

· Monday 5/25/2026 - Memorial Day
